Torn String is dead?  Move on Warlock!

and suck it up babycakes.... crank up YOUR research level and research the ressurection spell when it becomes available and and then bring your *cough* pool-boy back to life ...

hopefully you can control your yearnings for a while because it can be a while before it comes up for possible research

BTW I am not sure I like the way the game limits your possible research choices

Sounds like you're mad that you aren't playing the part of Tornstring ;)  I've never seen a Resurrection Spell and I have cast the Unity Spell twice.  Therefore, I have to assume it is a god specific Spell.  I also do not like the way Research is limited, but, I think it adds an element of strategy.  Using what you have at hand and so on.

@Martok I do not know the odds of a Hero appearing.  I have played games with very few Heroes and artifacts and I have played games where they are being turned away from service and my artifacts overfloweth. I don't think it's a level of difficulty thing either.  I have played Challenging almost exclusively and had the wide range of Hero experiences.

l held on to Snakegate long enough to produce the Temple to Helia.  My relationship to the god took a serious jump.  I am +71 with Helia and, more importantly, -71 with Lunord.

If I could ever find the Gold to do it, Wolves of Helia would be an outSTANDing unit!

I put up the Foundry for the that day in the future that the Wolves are built ;)

Rjakh is tired of prosecuting his war against me, so, I let him off the hook. For now :)

And a Hero presents itself!  I do not have enough Gold at the moment to hire him, but, Bradis the Grim will soon be in my employ.

It's already a direction I want to go, so I agree to support my ally.

I don't know about anyone elses experience with this game, but I always find myself short of Gold.  Not usually to any detrimental degree, but, to do the things I want to do: upgrade and bump units up and purchase and sustain more powerful units.  I am sure it's a game balance, but it sure is frustrating.  I want to build Shamans and Werewolves, but they are expensive to build and maintain.  I also want the Hero unit.

I love Spells like this.  They are helpful during sieges.

Rjakh is pressing against a weak point in my lines.  A well placed Firestorm should relieve some of the heat.

Minotaurs are a unit I find to be very helpful.  They can be bought up in Attack and continue to be able to move to their full Movement Points after an attack.

The next Spell up is Life Weapon Enchant.  I don't have any artifacts to give my Hero so, in order to bump him up, I will have to cast Spells.
