...that started Thursday night 8) Shoutout to Tuna, Bart and W8 for a very cool Warlock game with voice chat. You should all really try and make some time this weekend (not Sunday night) to get the next turns in. The weekend gaming looks like a lot of mowing the lawn, really. Two actually. With a push mower. Both more than half an acre. But, there will be CKII merriment and certainly some Civ IV MP.

As of 11:30 PST tomorrow, I am on vacation until July 8th. Going to split my gaming time between Distant Worlds: Shadows, Endless Space, Rift, Xenonuats, Vicky 2, Birth of Rome, ETW+ACW Mod, and World War One Gold. I'm also highly considering picking up Scourge of War Gettysburg 150th Anniversary Edition, but $80 is a bit steep for a series I don't know much about. Maybe a single ship patrol scenario in Steel Wolves.

Of course I will also be taking some breaks from gaming to get out and enjoy the nice weather we are supposed to have next week with some shooting, fishing, maybe some golf, and of course lighting of a ton of fireworks on the 4th.

Really have no idea this weekend.

British and Irish Lions play the second test on Saturday - so Saturday is written off as alcohol will be ingested

Tonight - I would like to try and do what Jarhead did with DCS Black Shark 2 and get to learning different systems. Start with startup, take off, hover kind of thing tonight...we'll see.

Tomorrow if anything it'll be FPS based I'm sure of it.

Sunday - I really need to get a grip of my modelling. There's longer, lighter days just now and one of the things that kills modelling for me in autumn/winter is the earlier nights and bad light. So I should get a move on with my Challenger II. I'll likely game as well...maybe some Wargame:Airland Battle? Or finish Far Cry 3 which is sitting there begging me to complete.

Whatever you do, have a good one and be careful out there in gaming land!

I saw Endless Space on sale - any good? I already have things like Distant Worlds, SotS I, Armada 2526 and X3 Albion Prelude...all of which I've played far less than I ought to have - so maybe I've answered my own question there!

I'll almost certainly be playing more Distant Worlds: Shadows and Shogun 2 Total War. I also hear Klingon Academy and Crusader Kings 2 beckoning to me...

i can only come from the MP side - its been brilliant with HUW - its not a co-op or anything just Huw has his empire, i have mine and we voice chat and share intel - that alone has been cool

the game itself is an utter joy, i for one enjoy the combat side of things, the research tree is magnificent and makes perfect sense back out in the universe and the UI is the best in any game, ever

Yep, great fun last night with the guys playing Warlock.
Long weekend this one so I'll try to get in lots of gaming around the yardwork and sunning by the pool.

Maybe Warlock.
Gotta try out the new addition to Endless Space.
Really start up my Going Coastal DAR.
Probably more CiV.
And a couple of new iOS games - War of the Zombie - kinda like XCom only zombies instead of aliens very cool so far, and Colin McRae Rally!

Wargame ALB - watched a youtube vid of a guys British deck creation and then the game he played with that deck - very good watching, and used British forces exactly how id assume you would, behind enemy lines, cutting supply lines and ambushing - cant wait to give it a try

As of 4pm EST today I too will be on vacation until July 8. Tomorrow I head out to Martok's Land of Plenty on my annual baseball pilgrimage to watch a few games with the indefatigable Minnesota Twins. When I return I plan on diving full bore into Company of Heroes 2, continue my Van Helsing game and start a new campaign of Fall of the Samurai.

If I can keep the rain at bay, I'll be playing "Super Deluxe Tree Limb Removal God" with the special "Electric Reciprocating Saw" upgrade.

If not, probably try to get get FAB Sicily on the table in preparation for my anniversary article next month.

Truth is, I'll spend most of it playing Civ V and watching TV.
