I got my butt kicked collecting the first when a bot spawned about 100 feet from me after I loaded the first stone into the monolith.

I reloaded and got past that, but then got killed after I managed to just take the second one.

Hopefully they're making this difficult now to test the AI of the bots.

Or maybe the strategy is to not immediately head back to the monolith after you get something. Perhaps that's too obvious?
