My last game of 2013 I earned a checkmate playing as white against the Shredder engine.  The first game of the New Year is yet to come...

No resolutions for me this year.  I've still have the last decade or two worth of them to attempt and live up too.

Kushan

Last game of 2014 and the first of 2015 is going to be FSX. Just finished a short trip from Port Angeles, WA over to Victoria, BC and back. First sim flight in a long time, really looking forward to getting back into it in 2015.
PanzersEast: Have to think to myself.... will I play the first one by the Winter Sale?  Probably not, then I should remove Dragonfall
PanzersEast: but that is thinking too logically.... and Steam Sales are about ignoring Logic

My gaming resolution for 2015 is to have some more focus on a few games I really like instead of just trying to keep up with All the new shiny. Amen.

I think I have had that resolution every year but blow it pretty quickly:).  Therefore, not going to bother setting any resolutions anymore:)

I need to play more games in general this year. Stupid real life always getting in the way.

having totally missed the steam sale this year because of Elite, i figure my gaming nirvanna has begun - maybe a little splurge on Atilla but other than that im ok

Double Deuce

I'm with Yskonyn, I need to spend more time on the games I already have that aren't played much and not worry about getting so many new ones as they come out.

MetalDog

If I was going to make a gaming resolution, I guess it would be to buy some new ones to play.  I'm sure everyone gets tired of reading the Friday thread and seeing, "I'll be playing Civ IV BtS MP and some Warlock MP if I can get my wayward opponents to commit to their commitment."

So, seeing as this is the Friday thread, I will be off today, work tomorrow and off for the weekend.  I've got Age of Wonders III on tap along with either CK2 or EUIV.  And maybe, just maybe, I'll fire up Skyrim that I just bought in the Steam Winter Sale.

Well I should just stop playing games for 2015.  I managed to earn a checkmate as black this time.

That's been my experience as well. Why bother? Just play and have fun.

That is one thing I could improve on, which is my attention span on games....I'll never resolve to buy less, but I need to become better at actually "playing" my games...its amazing to see how little time I put into some games before moving on.   I have become more of a game collector than a game player and that needs to change!

Sir Slash

I resolve in 2015 to finish a Rome 2 game, update all my versions of Combat Mission, and finally finish exploring Skyrim. And lose manfully in DC Case Blue.

I definitely need to slow on purchases. I have a shit load of games that are bloody good. A few FPS games that I want to complete too.

So - I am very much hoping I can hold off new purchases. I'm not naïve enough to think I'll be able to hold off all year - so my attempt is to hold off as long as possible. If I make a month I'll be amazed....if I make 3 months, I'll be cured!  ;D
