Thank Russian Christ.  After 5 years of chasing this idiot around, I've finally managed to drive the Khivan Emir's army out of both Khiva and Russian territory.  He's now lurking around in Kokand but at least he's been weakened enough that I don't think he'll come back.



I can finally get back to worrying about the rest of the nation which has been slowly falling apart while I concentrated all of Russia's wealth on prosecuting this war.

The goblins nearly wiped out one of my cav squads that way over in my AAR this mission, so I know whereof I speak.  :buck2:

Cool!  I hope this one is compatible with our saves but I'm not optimistic as the last one wasn't.  We shall see though. Hopefully it will not destroy the game.  I had to clean the registry and reinstall v1.03e last time in order to get things working again.

If I try to load any of our saves I get a pop-up window that says "Sorry! A critical error has occurred.  something-something-something contact AGEOD support." Then the game hangs for a minute or so and dumps back to the desktop.

The meltdown could be resolved faster if those shiftless Eye-ties were to send a turn in.  (And if I can revert the game back to 1.03)
