Albeit temporarily.

QuoteEurotunnel services were suspended on Saturday after more than 200 migrants broke into its French terminal in a "massive and organised" assault.

Passenger and freight services through the tunnel were halted for several hours while French police struggled to contain the invasion and remove the migrants.

All Eurotunnel services have been suspended for safety reasons after more than 100 migrants stormed the tracks overnight (EPA)

Two police officers and four migrants suffered minor injuries during scuffles, local authorities of the Pas-de-Calais region said.

Around 100 of the migrants managed to walk as far as 15 kilometres into the Channel Tunnel during the mass break-in before police intervened to stop them getting any further.

happens once a week and then one of them gets electrocuted and its the governments fault for not switching the electric off to let them in

mobs wth knives and sticks running up the tunnel sounds like an invasion of our country to me

25 million pound to strengthen the fence, security, beef up restrictions

OR

25000, a machine gun, bob and me and a bag of pork scratchings - problem fixed

I'm not clear on why they aren't shot. It seems like a major security breach. Would the French tolerate hundreds of people storming the runways at Charles de Gaulle?

Not a bad idea!

Let's take one of those tunnels they're using to sneak into California and Arizona and gradually (so no one will notice) curve them to the right. Then we extend them all the way to Wales.

Problem solved!

i join in for free for travel expenses and a hot meal at some burger take out  !

i even go to the extend and say: Breivik (the Norwegian bomber) got the Europian future portrait right in his manifesto, even so his method to fight it (leaching out at future goody two shows to may become politicians) were a little take to the extreme.  We have to fight it at the voting booth
