Just spent a half hour watching a play video of the Battle of Leuthen.  Made quite a few things clearer.  Still went too fast on the button pushing, which Orders he was pressing or Line changes or Orders.  Makes a bit more sense though.  Going to give another battle a try on my own.

Hmm can't find MD anywhere today to do some Civ IV  :-[

MD has plans to go to the year end fantasy football league party.  Eat some wings, watch some playoffs and collect my reward.  Tomorrow may be a little scarce, too.

Maybe some DCS 2.0 and Battlefield 4 if there is time.

The best survival/crafting/open world game currently is 7 Days to Die.

What do you think of the forest?

As expected, I'm playing a fair bit of Bioshock Infinite this weekend.  I just love it, it's just as captivating as Bioshock.  I prefer the Rapture setting to Columbia, but Infinite makes up for it with Elizabeth, probably the best NPC I've yet seen in a game.

I also can't tear myself away from Wurm Online.  As long as you have some kind of goal in mind, there's no shortage of things to do, and my alliance is awesome.  I'm currently working on upgrading my house, which I've started by finishing the floor which was previously part cobblestone.  Now it's all wood.  Oh, and I got a cow pregnant!  By using a bull.  So we should have a calf in a few days.  I have a sheep happily grazing in my garden; as soon as it's matured I will take it to my village's sheep enclosure and get it to reproduce.  Before long I will hopefully have a good renewable supply of wool and meat. :)  Just started to try fishing too.

Ended up mostly playing Distant Worlds: Universe today (when not watching the Vikings break my heart yet again :( ).  Such a lovely game.  Not the prettiest, but she's wonderfully rich & complex, with a lot of depth.  Kind of like Star.

Played a turn at DC3:Barbie as expected.

Gave a little help on 7DtD, although mostly I took a break from it today to play...

...two gamedays worth of Empyrion (or however it's spelled): Galactic Survival. Not as bleak as 7DtD, of course, and I had to restart a couple of times, and frankly the interface could be better about spelling out what's required for what. But I've got two videos to take snapshots for an AAR now.
ICEBREAKER THESIS CHRONOLOGY! -- Victor Suvorov's Stalin Grand Strategy theory, in lots and lots of chronological order...
Dawn of Armageddon -- narrative AAR for Dawn of War: Soulstorm: Ultimate Apocalypse
Survive Harder! -- Two season narrative AAR, an Amazon Blood Bowl career.
PanzOrc Corpz Generals -- Fantasy Wars narrative AAR, half a combined campaign.
Khazâd du-bekâr! -- narrative dwarf AAR for LotR BfME2 RotWK campaign.
RobO Q Campaign Generator -- archived classic CMBB/CMAK tool!

I loved Bioshock: Infinite too. Never played any of the other Bioshock games.

returned to my old fave CKII - sometimes i wonder why i buy anything else, i love the game - spent the last 2 hours shredding the Norwegian line of succession to get my grandson to be on the throne, my daughter married the third in line with a matrilineal marriage - so far ive killed the Crown Prince, his 2 sons and next the Prince Regent, then my boy is up for the crown, and then it comes to Parma

My heir just died and my daughter is next in line, i just matrilinealed her to the Prince of Scotland - time to start knocking off some Jocks

and we're carving our way through the Aragon and Castille - both were ravaged by the Moors but Christian rebels have risen up and started fledgling Aragon and Castille kingdoms, fortunately for Parma theyre right next to the Duchy of Barcelona - Me

Honestly, you should play Bioshock.  It's a no-brainer if you enjoyed Infinite.
