Wish us luck, but I fear all is lost.

Sounds like the teaser to another zombie game... Can you craft RPGs and acid-filled ditches as well?

we had about an inch of ice on everything yesterday.  We've got some very crusty, crunchy now over top of it now, so it's going to suck for snowball fights and show angels, but it might work out for sleeping OK.

I'm just hoping that the temp here stays below 31F so the snow doesn't partially melt to form an ice shell below what falls after sundown.

@bbmike -- I'm west of you.  We're over in Fauquier County.  Here's a few snaps from this morning...


@Staggerwing -- the snow here seems to be pretty dry, so lots of blowing drifting snow.  Thats a good thing I think, since the trees are mostly clear and the power is still on even with the blustery winds.

This is the town just south of us.
There's not a lot of snow; we've got a lot of ice, which is worse because people around here think "hey, there's no snow, so I can drive!"
