Sounds like there were 5 separate attacks, two at the airport.  Death toll is up to 28.

Some bad news to wake up to.

My wife and kids left Brussels on Sunday so luckily they are out of this madness.  My sister and her family who they were visiting in Brussels are safe (but they live in a nieghborhood where there is a huge Muslim population)  They are sheltering in their home right now.  My brother in law works for the European Union.  Two years ago they were in the Ukraine when Russia invaded and now Brussels.  I need to ask them where they are going next since they seem to pick their new assignments and then it all goes to hell there.

Very good to hear your family is safe.

Unfortunately this is probably only the beginning of what will be a very hot summer in Europe :(

35 people are confirmed as killed, more than 100 injured and some are still fighting for their lives.

Media are reporting everything points to ISIS. It seems Russia warned my country a couple of days ago ISIS combatants from Belarus returned from Syria and
were heading to Belgium.

Major parts of my country are in full lockdown and people are panicking everywhere as police thinks some terrorist are still at large.
Latest news is that they are even evacuating the nuclear powerplant in Tihange.

I live 15K from Brussels and the airport and it is as if life came to a standstill.  No planes in the sky, no trains heading to the capital, almost no busses or cars in the streets ...
