Hoping the whole film is filled with origin story, too.   

Judging by their public filming, with Benedict Bandersnatch in the iconic cape, there is some kind of ass-kicking action in the latter part. 

Less pebble snatching from hands and more mf'ing sorcery, I say!


They'll obviously be releasing more trailers before release.  Probably still working on the special effects for some of it.

(No, they don't quote the Prisoner intro in the trailer, my brain just pulled the geeky association and it fit rather amusingly.  O0 )

The Time Gem would be an elegant way of explaining how Strange accomplishes a lot of his magic, manipulating timeflow back and forth in relation to standard time.

It's practically been confirmed, without officially having been done.  The time gem as Eye Of Agamatto, that is.

Also seems that Dormammu is likely to show up, late in the first film.  Saw this info a short while back from a different source:

This video reveals that Kaecilius is one of a group known as the 'Zealots,' who have become seduced by forces from other dimensions. Kaecilius has dedicated himself to "spilling the barriers between these dimensions".

Perhaps the most interesting part of this is the word 'seduced'. Screen-shots unwittingly shared by Community co-creator Dan Harmon - who's been working on reshoots for Doctor Strange - had included a file named 'Kaecilius_01_Seduction'. The video's use of the same word is telling; Kaecilius has travelled into another reality, and encountered a power that has tempted him away from the night. Given that another of Harmon's files was entitled 'Strange Confronts Dormammu,' it's not hard to work out just what cosmic force Kaecilius has been tempted by! Dormammu is a classic enemy of Doctor Strange, a demonic being of near-infinite power who seeks to extend his rule to our dimension. It seems that Kaecilius is — whether consciously or unwittingly — serving Dormammu's ends.
