LEGO Batman 2 is actually really well done. Some legitimately funny jokes in there poking fun at the more serious Batman games, the TV series and everything else.

So far so good....certainly very light but solving the puzzles keeps it interesting.  No regrets here.

LOTR is quite amazing, really.  The world / gameplay is huge, and it basically includes all three books.   It also include co-op mode, which is nice.  Not a bad review, here...http://www.g4tv.com/games/xbox-360/66136/lego-the-lord-of-the-rings/review/

IMHO, The thing that makes any Lego game intersting is how well they expand upon the basic premise of the book / movie / title and allow play outside of the story line.  Harry Potter and the Star Wars game do this fairly well, largely because the belong to a "big" world.  The Pirates of the Caribbean game fails for this exact reason...not much to do outside of the main plotlines.  I was hoping for some good ship-to-ship action, etc, but all you really get is a fairly flat and obvious cash-in.

Haven't played the Indiana Jones games...

Batman 2 is a very good effort....sort of plays like a benign Grand Theft Auto.

Now, the problem is, how to divide five Afghans from three mules and have two Englishmen left over.

Well, I extended my streak with Lego games...just saw the new Star Wars Force Awakens deluxe version on CDKeys for only $20, so bought it....comes out on June 28th.  The deluxe pack comes with the season pass and seems worth it for some additional content and that price...if you just want the standard version, it is only $14.  Star War always gets me....and seems like a pretty good price for now.

My kids love the Lego games. I get called in from time to time to help with some puzzle or boss. I'll admit there's been a couple of things I had to Google to figure out.

Playmobil....I forgot all about those....had a cool Knights set when I was a kid, one of my favorite....err, maybe I should refer to them as Action Figures:)

Lego Marvel Superheros is a blast. I played it with my grandson for many many hours. Tons of characters, huge open world and tons of fun.

Not to be confused with Marvel Avengers. That one is the newest but a disappointment imo.
