74 yesterday, supposed to get to 72 today, and that was with some rain last night.  The coldest day for the next 5 days is going to be 68 or so.

Looks like the next couple of days are going to be full of suck for the northeast.  RI is looking to get a bit of a pounding if weather underground is to be believed.  Snow followed by snow, followed by freezing rain.

Getting the same in Vancouver right now.  This winter's been a harsh one.  We usually only get a few snow days per season and it rarely sticks for more than a day when it falls.  This year we got hammered with a big dumping of snow in mid December followed by a cold snap of over a month.  City never did plough my street.  It was deep enough that once it froze to ice, there were a lot of fine specimens if you were a muffler collector.

That stuff finally mostly melted a few weeks ago but we got hit again this week.  My neighbourhood got about 40cm of snow over the weekend and another 10-15cm so far today and it's still falling.  Supposed to switch to freezing rain later this evening which should add to the misery.  Icy roads, broken power lines and falling trees.  Wheeeee!

Toonces, I heard we're looking at 8-12" of snow along the SNE coast, with 20 mph winds and gusts up to 40. What do your sources say?
