I'm guessing you don't have a generator but do you have an inverter you can plug into your car to give you a little AC wattage when needed?

About 15 inches of snow, the winds are picking up and it sounds like sleet is coming down now. And the Rottweiler shit in the upstairs hallway again because he doesn't want to get his ass cold in the drifts outside. God help me if I don't murder him before tomorrow morning. Fucker.

No, SW, I don't have any of that fancy stuff, but I do have a 6-pack of Black and Tan left, so there's that.

Anyway, looks like we survived.  It's a wet, soupy mess out there, but a lot of the snow melted.  It's going to go below freezing tonight, so tomorrow should be a nice, icy ice mess tomorrow morning.  Hopefully the roads are well salted for the drive in.

Just finished shoveling the slush off the end of the driveway so I wouldn't get a four-inch deep ice dam there, causing the melt to get held back onto the rest of the driveway and form a skating pond. I made the mistake of not taking care of that a few years ago and the deep ice stayed on my gravel driveway for at least a month, despite many following warm days.
