The car temp gauge said 10 at 6:30 this morning.  As I drove out to my territory at 7:15, the big electronic board I pass said the temp was 6.  Hooray for having an outside job!   <:-)

We have an orange warning in place for gales and storm wind weather conditions. There's warnings of flooding. But we had flooding last week as well, the river near me burst its banks and turned into more of a lake, spreading across nearly the whole field!

At the weekend, most of the main roads were flooded and it was lashing it down. Making driving.... Interesting  :)  I wouldn't be surprised if this is the weather for the next 2 months at least. Typical Irish winter!

I saw all those folks down in New Orleans during the New Year's shows all bundled up.  I remember thinking, damn that looks cold, I wonder how MD is doing?

Forecast for 12, up to 14" of snow.  Looks like a 4-day weekend for sure.

LOL - reminds me of the '78 blizzard in northern Virginia. That was a good five feet of snow. Fun times for a 9-year-old and his friends...EPIC snowforts and snowball fights!
