Anyone check this out? Still in early access, but looks pretty good.

Boat Crew is a single-player game that is all about leading your men on a PT boat in the Pacific against the Imperial Japanese Navy. Strong crew management and boat modification elements are present in a grand campaign where good performance increases the ability of surviving crew and opens the game up to more diverse missions and equipment for your boats.

It's basically a JFK PT-109 simulator...really looking forward to the Mimi Beardsley DLC!

^Haha you have a point there.

But consider this, a land lubber's vision of a boat might be quite different from what a navy sailor would classify as a boat.

I tried out the demo and while the game is pretty neat, it's a whole lot arcadier than I was hoping.  Very much feels War Thunder ish where you're just sort of sailing in circles to avoid big red attack indicators while you spam everything you've got at the enemies.  There isn't really fuel as far as I can tell, and while I like the acceleration and velocity management, turning is way too easy (you can sit idle and just spin in circles) and it just generally feels really easy to outmaneuver a massive battleship without much trouble.

Will wait to see how the game shapes up.
