Loving everything about it so far - played the cargo one with the 3 Russian ships attempting to sink the ship - brilliant

As for missing units and content I'm sure a there's a myriad of stuff planned and if not planned the community will be all over it - I'm a paradox fan boy - bring me the DLC

I'm enjoying it as well.  I'm still getting comfortable with the UI but it's mostly quite intuitive although I sometimes have trouble selecting units on the tac map.

I won the scenario against the Egyptians with the loss of 3 out of my 6 Israeli boats.  (I might've been a little less than scrupulous when it came to positively IDing targets before launching missiles but I was RIGHT, damn it!)

I'd like to take a crack at it from the Egyptian side now.  Their Styx missiles look like they have longer range and pack more of a punch than the Israeli Gabriel missiles but the Osa missile boats don't seem to offer much in the way of defence.  I was able to spoof 3 incoming Styx missiles with chaff as the Israelis.

Is there a way to move the info windows to other monitors if you have a multiple monitor setup?
Seems like a common thing but I couldn't finds any option to allow this

So what's the verdict?

Just on the early excess or wait for release?

IMHO, its fun.  It doesn't have the depth of CMO or Harpoon, but sometimes it is nice to not burn out my brain cells playing a game.  Good eye-candy.  It is worth it.  The AI doesn't maneuver the ships as well as I would like, so it does require some micro-managment, but it isn't too bad in that regard.

Definitely - there's a few niggles but it's EA that's supposed to happen

Good to hear!  I loved Harpoon. The complexity and options available in CMO are more than i want sometimes. This might be just right. A bad t pricey for me right now.

Is it just me or is fuel not a thing in this game - cant seem to find any representation of it ?

There are range rings for airplanes and helicopters.  I don't think fuel matters for ships.

Sir Slash

I watched a video last night of a scenario that had mines. I believe it was a User-Made scenario. So, there's that.

It's fun.  It has some minor bugs, but for an early release it is very playable.  It isn't as accurate or detailed as CMO or Harpoon, and there is a lot of micromanagement.  However, the ease of play and the graphics make it an enjoyable experience.  I'm starting to work on a video of the Operation Prairie Fire scenario to both highlight the game and to give a bit of historical background on the operation.  I'll let you know when its posted.

Boy am I loving this game. It's the spiritual successor to Fleet Command I've been wanting for the last 25 years. It fixes everything that wss problematic about that game and improves on it considerably. This is going to be a really special one.

Toonces

I'm having repeated crashes.  I'm playing a self-made mission, not all that complex, and no mods.  I'll try a stock scenario and see if it still crashes.  I'm pretty frustrated.
