F15c is the aircraft that most excites me followed by the Mig29.
I'd prefer a Rafael to the Eurofighter. But may like the Eurofighter.
Big fan of the Hellcat over the Corsair.

German cold war map if that is what it was sounds amazing.

Sad news about polychop if true, all his devs but himself have left him. That's the super sabre and kiowa developer iirc?

Right now I don't feel too much like spending more on DCS than I already have.

I would expect the F-15C to fly well, but I like pounding the ground.

The Kiowa was my next purchase, but now there's a dent in there.

There seemed to be a lot of emphasis on ground ops. Are they making improvements to Combined Arms? I'd really love to see that...in a dynamic campaign would be pretty epic.

I'm not really sure why the dynamic campaign is always so hard with them. There's already 3rd party apps that do it in a turn based fashion or MP servers that do it. Is it because they are trying to replicate the falcon campaign holy grail?

Hopefully they overhaul some ground weapons while they are at it.

I have no problem being shot down by a ZSU-23-4. But right now a BMP's main gun is almost equally likely to get you, which has "questionable" realism.

WAGS seems to be doing long Q&A sessions. Really enjoyed this one. Cold War Germany but Vietnam is not coming but they'd like to do it. Once they are done with the supercarrier groundcrew the same crew could even more easily be moved to ground based airstrips.

You upload manuals in pdf form and you can ask questions that will be answered exclusively with the pdf or pdfs in that notebook.

I just stuffed the DCS F/A-18C manual in there and it works quite well. The only problem is that it doesn't use pictures to point to specific switches in the cockpit.

Being "blown by a tank's main gun" was never a good experience in IL2 46 either

ED raises the bar again with East Afghanistan. I created a quick 2-ship flight of F-16s to tour over the mountains around Bagram. The textures are amazing. The mountains look like you can reach out and touch them. Really amazing work.

The best part? DCS is running better than ever...especially with DLSS4, which you must try if you haven't already.

I believe all RTX series cards, including 20 series, will get DLSS 4 support, but I'm not sure if the 20 series has it yet. Check your latest driver change logs. I'm running it on a 4080 and a 4090. I will try it on my 3090 too.

If not, I've seen seen guys mod it in to boost performance in MSFS2020. I was almost going to buy a 4090, then I found the mod and it saved me a few grand by just sticking with my 3090 ti.

i wish i could describe what I see in my VR headset when I look down at those mountains from 20,000 feet. There are few words...breathtaking does come to mind though.

I sold my VR

I loved DCS in it and Project Cars - but ultimately, I did not like messing around with the cables. Additionally, with DCS, accessing keys was, for me, problematic.

I might look to get a Quest in future - not sure.
