^ One of the legitimately great romance in the comics. Something the show needed to get right, and got right enough for someone like me (distantly knowledgeable of the original stories) and evidently right enough to impress other people.  O0

I seem to recall seeing confirmation of Castle returning for Season 3, no doubt simply as crossover guest start.

Only way to have a good bad-guy character is to promote some kind of empathy or understanding with them on occasion.  Just occasionally, in between the bad and/or crazy stuff of course.  ^-^

They did well with that character on the series, yet still left much mystery.  Want more.

Agree completely. My wife HATES him. And 'Vanessa' for marrying him. I couldn't for the life of me figure where I had seen that actor before until one of his 'evil-face' close-up scenes then it hit me.... "Full Metal Jacket", the Crazy Guy-- that's him! He kind of scares the shit out of me.

D'Onofrios few scenes in Season 2 are excellent also.   8)
