No, no, that's ok.  I typed up that rulebook for print for him but I haven't actually even read it yet.  :)  I do have a copy of it that Paul sent me, I just need to set it up solitaire some time and become acquainted with it.

I was a little intimidated by the 40 pages of rules at first, but then I found that most of the rules have that good old Avalon Hill feel to them. Reading them was warm cozy and familiar. Like a nice pair of fur lined slippers in winter.

Is everyone kinda buying more games than usual lately? Like we are stocking up for winter?

I normally buy a couple times a year and I have done three fairly large orders in the past two weeks (latest coming in Thursday).

Just seems everyone is being 'bad'...including me (I claimed these as my B-Day present to myself :) )

Well...there might be a...famine or something. Yeah, a famine. Of games. Need to stock up.

I make note of this after remembering at the beginning of the year a lot of folks said that they were going to cut back on buying until they got more on the table...I was just wondering if this was some sort of withdrawal thing or just lots of great new games and good deals on older games becoming available.

Willpower.  Lack thereof, specifically.

GMT's P500 has been the main culprit for me....  I like pretty much everything on the list, so the games just keep showing up on my doorstep....  I am not complaining...but my wife is...:)

My current passion is minis.

It almost doesn't matter which kind. (Almost)
All that is gold does not glitter,
Not all those who wander are lost;
The old that is strong does not wither,
Deep roots are not reached by the frost.

I'd have more if the ones I wanted didn't cost so much en masse.  :buck2:

After figuring out the cost of a batch I go into the, "I could buy a whole new game, maybe with it's own minis, for this price!" line of thinking.

Minis are expensive. I would love to drop some cash for Armada.

I bought the first set of those for my daughter. They were nice minis and she got a TON of them for the money.
