Light Division looks like fun. Where did you pick it up from?

I bought it back in the 90s.

Never got it to the table.  Seemed a bit... odd... at the time.  Maybe it was how the manual was written, or production style?  *shrug*

Picked it up on the BGG Market.

I tried out Julius Caesar by Columbia Games at the FLGS's games night last night.  It's covers the Roman civil war between Julius Caesar and Gnaeus Pompey.  It's a very light game and can be finished in an hour and a half to two hours.  It was quite fun.  I played as Pompey and ended up losing by 1 point as I just couldn't finish off Julius Ceasar in the final battle.  I had managed to knock of Marcus Antonius but lost Scipio in the process (and all my elephants).

Up Front with the little lady in accompanying pink robe. She asked me if I was up for a game.   :idiot2: O0 :smitten:

If you've never played Up Front, but heard about its mystique, its legend, its warmth...do yourself a favor and get the offering by WargameVault.com and then get your loved one(s) to join you for a little game, will ya?   ;)

Great stuff GJK.  I played some King of Tokyo early this evening.  Very similar game...well they both at least use cards.

I really need to get one of those card deck holding dohickeys.

I really need to get a woman who will play Up Front with me.

Pulled out, punched, and trimmed the hairy bushes (corners) off the Silent Victory counters.

Gonna use some of my new DoubleSix dice to replace the mediocre ones that come with the game.  I tossed the ones I owned into a dice tray, including the Triple d4s for completeness.

Will post a pic of the game itself when it's been running a bit.  Started skippering USS Tautog.   ^-^
