I know, I loved that one. Along with the woman teaching him martial arts, "I thought we were having sex", LOL. Guy seems really down to earth.

I really liked the premier. Good to see all the old faces back and a well-done battle at the end. The PC element is back in full though but it's entertainment not history.

I liked it too. Lots of hawt pagan women. Lagatha (SP?) is just too hawt.

Good first episode but not sure how the two commanders in the last battle did not recognize the error in their plans of dividing their forces and putting them on opposite sides of the river where neither could support the other....and worst yet making one of the groups much smaller than the other.....gee I wonder what any enemy leader would do seeing that:)

Still loved it and look forward to the rest of the season.....

My girlfriend and me have a saying for the dumb, obviously story driven reasons for things happening in shows and movies, "because Hollywood."  For example, the last Tom Cruise move, "Edge of Tomorrow," gave him the ability to relive the same day(s) over and over every time he was killed.  At one point in the movie, he and his co-star, Emily Blunt, were in a situation where they discover something that they can use to further their cause, but, she dies in the attempt.  He, of course, is reluctant to go through with it as they have played the scenario out many times before and she, for some reason oblivious to the outcome even though he remembers it, powers through and dies anyways.  It's the same thing every time.  And my simple thought was, "Why not just stop somewhere else or do something different?  There is nothing in the movie that seems to force you in to what you are doing EXCEPT for the story."  Because Hollywood.
