Let me get this straight.  DV7 is stuck in a snowstorm in the middle of Idaho and is able to walk into a LGS and purchase an actual GMT game off the shelf?   Meanwhile I've been to at least a dozen LGS in the greater Richmond/Washington DC corridor and have seen exactly ONE GMT game.  What the hell?

Just to clarify.  The snowstorm was at home in VA.  It was 60 degrees in Boise (Boy-C as I was corrected about the pronunciation).  This was an interesting store, they focus just on board games and MTG.  No miniatures games at all!

Let me know what you think of Laby once you try it.  I have a copy of it and Twilight Struggle but have yet to get it on my table.  I've watched games of each played so I have a good idea of how it goes.  I've also played it via wargameroom.com but it's not the same.

I did't get to try this while I was tuck in the hotel in Boise since the Glenfiddich 12 was making me lazy.  I started reading the rules and watched a video on solo game play while trying to play alone the other night.  I felt like I was programming in FORTRAN again, "if not than".  So many flow charts.  As a whole the game was very good and an excellent solo game.  The workload will be a lighter for 2 people since you only have to read the flow charts for your side.

PQ-17 looks very cool. I just don't know when I'd play it or even sit down to read the rules.

I talked with Sterrett about PQ17 one time, as he'd played it and I was thinking about getting it.

I'll be curious to hear what others say here and if it jives with his opinions.
