Grab the pre order now, can't imagine you'll find it cheaper anytime soon...hopefully they do release on jan 31 like they currently say

No problem guys, I am just hoping it turns out to be a good game. Seems like most previews seem to be not overly excited about it. But for $23 I am certainly willing to take the risk, especially since I like the theme of the game. My tastes typically don't agree with reviewers anyway:)

yeah RPS arent too keen on it but i didnt want to put a downer on the love here, but as you say everyones tastes vary - i think the combat is their concern

One of the beta testers has a few videos up on Youtube. Not to be Debbie Downer here, but they were enough to take me from a Day One purchase to "wait and see". Something just seems to be "off", but of course this would still be the beta.

I think it's a language problem, since the developers aren't native English speakers they get little things like slang wrong, and that ruins immersion for me. Who calls Prohibition "THE Prohibition"? If they let someone with a better knowledge of American wiseguy slang take a swipe at the script it would help a lot.

Might be. Prohibition can be treated as a proper noun and used without the article. Might be a linguistic flourish, but given that Kalypso is publishing it's probably a translation issue (I won't call it an error) more than anything.
