Depends. I'm 53, but I was born the week before JFK won election and two months before he was inaugurated. So I'm just barely an Eisenhower baby.

You've been misrepresented Steelie. I thought you were OLD old. 53 is simply old.  ;D

It occurred to me recently, that at 42, I'm now middle aged. That realization was an onion in the ointment.

its not like he said you were Windy old.
Jarhead - Yeah. You're probably right.

Gus - I use sweatpants with flannel shorts to soak up my crotch sweat.

Banzai Cat - There is no "partial credit" in grammar. Like anal sex. It's either in, or it's not.

Mirth - We learned long ago that they key isn't to outrun Star, it's to outrun Gus.

Martok - I don't know if it's possible to have an "anti-boner"...but I now have one.

Gus - Celery is vile and has no reason to exist. Like underwear on Star.

I remember being a kid and thinking that 40 was ancient! Funny how our perspective changes. I consider myself to still be middle aged. The good part of the equation is that I am more comfortable in my skin than I was at 20...or 30...or 40.  I know who I am and I'm ok with it.

I feel like I'm just hitting my stride. For a long time I still felt, more or less, like the same "kid" I was at 20. It's really only in my 40s that I've felt "mature", still don't feel old at all.

I regard my 40's and 50's to be the best years of my life so far. I have very little strife, a wife of 33 years and counting, two sons who grew into fine men who make me proud, two wonderful daughters in law who are really daughters, two grandsons that have my heart tied into knots, several friends who I go back decades with, and newer friends from all over the globe who don't drink my beer because we're online.

Life is good!

While she's still a young lass at 47, I can attest to the re-energized libido :)

Is that relationship going well?

It's running over a couple of bumps at the moment, but it's mostly due to external pressures and little time to spend with one another.  Stuff that will clear of its own accord and in due time.  Thank you for asking :)
