Honestly one of the more underwhelming aspects of this one were the fight scenes. The jump between small and large that they make several times each during the fights really don't translate that well to the big screen, and the scenes start to fall apart a little bit. Fortunately, the best parts of this movie are not the fight scenes, although there are a few good funny moments in them

I have tix purchased for tonight's Ant-Man showing in 3-D. Wife, kids, and me - the whole gang. Hope it's as good as I've been hearing.

Didn't get a chance to see Ant-Man over the weekend as planned. Still would like to take the kids at some point.

You have to wonder how much Marvel lost by not merchandising around the X-men films.

I bet Marvel is punching themselves in the ball sack for selling the movie and associated intellectual rights to X-Men and Fantastic Four.  Dumbasses.  Frankly all the Marvel hubbub and backstabbing is turning me off to them.

But I'm ok since I'm a DC guy and raising the boys to be Superman and Batman and the girls to be Wonder Woman and Supergirl/Batgirl fans.

No Captain America rocks.  He's my all time favorite, but the Marvel of today is not the Marvel of the 80s.
