I finally got around to watching, "Antman" the other day on DVR and it wasn't half bad. Lots of action, humor and good effects and M. Douglas did a good job of not taking-over the film. I'd go a 7 outta 10.

I saw it in the movies.  I liked it.  But I like Paul Rudd.  Don't care for Douglas.  And not a big fan of Evangeline Lily, but, I think she would make a really good Wasp.  So, all in all, it worked for me.  Glad you liked it, too.

Ant-Man was fun. Solid 8. Paul Rudd was exactly what was needed.

The difference between the MCU and DCU is that Marvel seems willing to poke some fun at itself. DC is far too serious about everything.

I think it's meant to signal "we're going old-school, don't worry, just like the fans wanted".

Which considering that he's wearing a Stark power-suit that has Stark web-shooters and Stark adjustable eye holes, is maaaaayyyybeee just a bit disingenuous. (Although the eye-hole adjustment is admittedly pretty clever as a translation from page to screen.)
