There are way more than 15 players effected, at least from what I see in various forums. I submitted a refund ticket, but I have no idea if they will honor my request (they should, considering it is a pre-order that has not been fulfilled). I am going to stick with them for Tomb Raider, because the deal was not big enough to merit a huge run on keys (I would hope).

If TGB had come in here raving about the quality of the game and how fun it was, I would be more content to wait. But sitting idly by while they sit on my money for a game that is only mediocre seems silly.

My key arrived over night.  Although glad it came, the experience still leaves a bad taste and still won't pre order from them again.

It is probably just me, but so far I think the game is OK.  I haven't got far yet, but have been in a number of tactical battles.  I am not an expert in these types of games, but have found the battles entertaining.  Not sure if overly realistic, meaning it seems like I can shoot someone 3 times at close range and they are still standing, but fun nonetheless.  I haven't dug deep into the stats and all that, so maybe there are reasons I am not always inflicting maximum damage when even close.  On the surface, I think $40 would be a little high for this game, but I think I'll get my $23 out of it in the end.  Certainly if your an extreme detail oriented person, maybe it may seem a little easy, but for casual people like myself, I am sure it will challenge me:)

It hasn't yet opened up on Steam (they still give one hour), so I don't think anyone can play it yet. Hopefully it will rectify pretty quickly.

EDIT: And after I say that, they switch it on. Strange.

It's because they follow every word written on Grogheads with an almost religious fervor. And you're their Gaming God!

I've uttered quite a few prophecies myself, nestled in a bar at 2am. I'm kinda hit and miss with those.

I have to admit I stumbled into an interesting and enjoyable tactical mission. I set out to rob a bank, but at the squad assignment screen I got a message telling me another gang was already in the midst of robbing it and shooting it out with the police.

My simple bank robbery turned into a timed mission where I had to grab some money and get the hell out of there before the feds arrived, all the time shooting it out with the other gang and the cops (who were still fighting each other).

It was tense and exciting, and my only complaint is that the game never told me exactly how much time I had to get it done.

Hey TGB, have you found a user manual for this game?  I couldn't find one.  If not, do you know what the difficulty settings represent in the game?  I know you can choose between easy and harder levels, but couldn't find info as to what impacts the level had on the game.  Just curious, what level you playing on?  I am only on easy so far and I have been killed plenty of times:)

If anyone here is interested, I have a key for Omerta that I can sell for $26. PM me if interested and we can do a Paypal thing. I only have one, so it goes to the first caller.

No manual that I can see.  I'm playing on "Normal" difficulty, whatever that means.

Thanks....really wish these developers would be on the hook for some level of documentation.  First they take away the physical manuals, now they don't even include an electronic manual.  They seem to think their included tutorials tell enough about the mechanics of the game, which is not true in my opinion.  For all I know, I could be missing out on some important parts of the game:(

In fairness the Help menu has a lot of information on traits and perks, plus there are tooltips for almost everything.

That is true....but would still be nice for an overall manual that can pull all the elements together, but your right they are helpful on an individual basis.

Did any of you guys read the Eurogamer review of this game?  They make it sound appalling!
