Snakegate, and its Holy Site, will become mine after my Ratman Pirates attack.  The problem will be holding it for any length of time.

As I now have two Holy Sites under my control, I will build a Temple to Helia here in Snakegate.   That will give me an idea of what effect to expect when I build several more.  Plus, when they give me the, "Build Temple to X," quest, I will have an open Site.

What are the odds of you finding another hero, btw?  It seems to me you've had a bad run of luck so far (in that Tornstring is the only one you've come across).

and suck it up babycakes.... crank up YOUR research level and research the ressurection spell when it becomes available and and then bring your *cough* pool-boy back to life ...

hopefully you can control your yearnings for a while because it can be a while before it comes up for possible research

BTW I am not sure I like the way the game limits your possible research choices
