Tonight's episode was WOW again!

Hope this doesn't give too much away, but the monster has turned on its creator and I have no sympathy for her.

Although it was nice to see that.....haven't really enjoyed this season as much as past seasons, especially the last few episodes.  Things seem like they are going at a very slow pace and not as much action...maybe all building up to the ending episodes, but just something about this year has been missing for me.  GOT is still can't miss TV for me so hoping things pick up a bit soon.

No.  That was the Valerian steel sword he always carries around, given to him by his predecessor, Sir Mormont.  Remember?  It was swatted out of his hand in the hut, but he picked it up outside for the finish.

If you don't recall all that stuff, just blame it on old age or bad hearing.  Starting to work as an excuse for me.  ;)

I know episode 9 is going to lose the show some viewers. I hope it was worth it; both for the producers and within the story.
