PanzersEast

Anyone currently flying the PMDG 777.... I have had it in my cart for a long time but have yet to jump in.  I have been flying the CS 777, but I now it is no where near the PMDG Level.

I have it.  Used to fly it before moving on to X-Plane.  It's one of the greatest FSX add-ons.

I only have the 737 NGX.. which is awesome itself.. Would love to have the 777, but I try to behave now and then.. and 90 dollar pricetag makes that a lil easier! (Think I got the NGX at Amazon for 50, which wasn't too painful).

I heard the 777 has weather radar that works with Active Sky next, in one of it's Service Packs.. I heard they may introduce that to the 737 as well.

Which weather radar is modelled in the 737NG for FSX?

Jomni where are some good places to get commuter turboprops and jets?  I know Carenado has a few X-Plane products, but I'm looking for some larger airframes.

Tuna

Carenado's look really nice.. but their systems are kind of weak.. you want some fun small turbo's that aren't too expensive.. I highly recommend Real Air's Duke Turbine! Also the Aerosoft Twin otter is a fun plane, I highly recommend both of them.

Aerosoft Twin Otter

Going bigger and more expensive is the Majestic Dash 8.. I don't have this one myself.. but I hear it's pretty awesome..

Majestic Dash 8 is the PMDG of turboprops.  You will never regret it.

Wait. Are you asking about X-Plane?

I was meaning X-Plane.  I have the Aerosoft Twin Otter and Lionheart Quest Kodiak, love them both.  I'm eyeing the Carenado B1900D, PMDG Jetstream 41, and Captainsim C-130...but I've been thinking about getting an X-Plane payware plane so I can try it out.  I'd like something I could use in FSEconomy.  I could really use a Cessna 206 amphibian...

I wish FSE supported larger aircraft, mainly just because that is what the payware developers make most of the time.  I'd be nice to eventually work my way to a 737-200, 727-ADV, or a DC-8 super sixty, then eventually a 747-8F.  :)

Tuna

I think Carenado planes sort of shine in X-Plane

Bend over..... inject FSX   :o

I'm now getting a Failed To Read From File error after screwing around with scenery.  My FSX has ran perfect for months and then I screw the pouch  :tickedoff:

Had someone ask me about flying VORs and SIDs.  I don't mind putting together a tutorial if others are interested.... I am currently flying cross county with VOR to VOR and VFR only.
